To play 2048, use arrow keys or swipe to move tiles on a 4×4 grid, merging identical numbers (2+2=4 2+2=4, 4+4=8 4+4=8) until you create a 2048 tile. A new 2 or 4 appears after every move. The best strategy is to keep your highest tile in a corner and avoid moving it.
